Barcelona has reportedly placed two of their hop players for sale as they look to raise funds for January transfer business.
Barcelona are looking to bring new faces to Camp Nuo but have lacked the funds to that since they were very much affected by the impact of lockdown and the coronavirus pandemic which plagued the whole world.
The Catalans were suppose to sign Lyon star Memphis Depay and Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum last transfer window but were blown off by the unavailability of funds and the high transfer fee demanded by the player’s respective clubs.
Still interested in bringing the two Netherlands internationals, Barcelona have decided to put their two stars Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele for sell.
According to a report released by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have decided to place Samuel Umtiti on the transfer list, along with Ousmane Dembele, Junior Firpo, Martin Braithwaite and Carles Alena.
Samuel Umtiti is very much not in Ronald Koeman’s plan and will be sold to raise funds. Dembele on the other hand has had injury Issues throughout his time at Barcelona till this very moment and is has not really being part of Koeman’s plan as the Dutchman prefers playing a trio of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati.
Interestingly, Arsenal, West Ham and Everton were said to be keen on signing the former Olympique Lyon defender back in July, again according to Mundo Deportivo.
