The Daily Post reported that, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC), former President Goodluck Jonathan’s recent visit to Bola Tinubu, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, was a calculated step to maintain unity and cohesion in the country.

In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, Mr. Felix Morka, APC National Advertising Secretary, justified

Morka praised the action and said it should be emulated, adding that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s alleged reaction against the visit revealed the party’s gross hypocrisy and stupidity.

“Impressed by the majestic visit of our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinuburecent, to the late Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. In a false alarm, the opposition PDP pressed the panic button, claiming the action would not benefit our candidate or party, The Daily Post reported.

He added that the PPD has shown itself to be a party with chronic myopia, lack of vision and incapable of recognizing the need to put the national good before political differences.

He claims that the PDP’s fixation on child partisanship prevents it from seeing existential and strategic opportunities to reconcile divisions, mend fences, and build bridges of racial harmony and unity.

The APC spokesperson emphasized how appalling it was that the PDP chose to fan the flames of hatred and division.

The Daily Post reported that Nigerians remain deeply affected by the PDP’s 16 years of misrule, corruption and waste.

Contrary to the absurd claim of the PDP, Asiwaju Tinubu and Senator Shettima are not breaking away from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the public record, the government deftly managed two economic downturns and saved the country from a precipice after the PDP’s harrowing eight years in power left it dangling dangerously, as The Daily Post reported.

Morka claimed that the APC and its presidential candidate were competing for the support of Nigerians to build on the foundation of restoration and greatness that the Buhari administration had established in all sectors.

He went on to say that the PPD and its other advocates of hate and division were powerless to thwart this admirable goal.
