Narok Mai Mahiu Accident: 4 Killed After A Matatu Collides With Lorry: Seems like the death news is becoming common news to read as whenever we lift any newspaper we can easily find the passing news of someone. Surprisingly, most of the time the death news is related to road accidents. One another tragic road accident took the life of 4 people on Sunday, 24th April 2022. As per the latest report, 4 people passed away in a road accident engaging an 11-seater matatu and a trailer at Nairagie Enkare escapement on the Narok-Mai Mahiu highway. As per the latest police report on the Sunday incident, a matatu, belonging to Quick Bus Sacco, was heading to Maimahiu from Narok when it crashed head-on with an oncoming lorry. The report reads that “It engaged a motor vehicle registration No.KCE 889G Hino lorry and a motor vehicle registration number KDB 458H Toyota matatu of Quick Bus Sacco.”

While asserting the incident, Narok East sub-county Deputy Police Commander Jared Marando stated all the casualties were in the Matatu vehicle that was headed towards Mai Mahiu, among them the matatu driver. Marando stated, “As a consequence of the accident, 4 passengers were lethally wounded. Scene visited and necessary action is taken. Efforts to tow the motor vehicles to the station are underway.”

As soon as the cops reached the scene to aid with moving the wounded persons to different hospitals. This unfortunate incident occurred about 5 kilometers from Ntulele Police Station. Those who were wounded in the accident were rushed to Narok County Referral Hospital for medical attention. The police are currently investigating the matter and looking to collect the evidence.

The families of the deceased are left shocked and netizens are appealing to provide justice to them. This month is quite bad for South Africans as many unfortunate things are happening. The names of the victims are not disclosed yet, police are currently probing the matter and searching for the culprit and also looking at whether any other cars were involved or not.
