Borrussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is not ill and has skipped the club’s Super Cup clash with defending champions Bayern Munich in order to force through a move to Manchester United, according to Norwegian outlet Dagbladet.
Sancho missed training with his teammates and Dortmund said it was because of respiratory problems. However, Norwegian news outlet Dagbladet have refuted those claims and are saying that the 20-year-old winger was left out of Dortmund’s squad because he is attempting to speed up his transfer to Old Trafford.

Sancho has already agreed personal terms with United over a five-year deal at the club. However, Dortmund have refused to lower their £108million asking price. United made a breakthrough in the deal earlier this month by agreeing the structure of payment of agent fees and wages but they are still far apart in valuation of the player with Dortmund.
What should please United fans is the fact that Sancho deployed a similar tactic when forcing a move away from Manchester City to Borrussia Dortmund in 2017. United and the Bundesliga based side are still in negotiations to see if a deal can be struck before the October 5 deadline.
The Red Devils are believed to have tabled a £91m bid for the Englishman but it was immediately rejected. The club however refused those claims. Let’s just wait what will happen in the next few days because the transfer window is always unpredictable.
Do you believe Sancho skipping the super cup clash with Bayern Munich is an indication that he is forcing a move to United?
