A child who was shot at a residence in south Little Rock has passed away from their injuries.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A child who was shot at a home on the south side of Little Rock on Tuesday afternoon reportedly passed away as a result of their injuries. According to the dispatch logs of the Little Rock Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 11000 block of Doe Run Drive in south Little Rock, which is located immediately off Chicot Road. A kid was verified to have been hurt in the gunshot by the police just before 1 pm. At this moment, no one has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. After three hours, officials from the department verified that the kid had passed away.
