AFLW returns to Seven | TV Tonight » Olite

The 2022 AFLW season will kick off tomorrow night during the men’s pre-finals bye, when Carlton and Collingwood meet at Ikon Park for the traditional opening match, from 7.00pm AEST live across Seven network.

After the AFLW match Andy Maher, Mick Molloy and Sam Pang return with The Front Bar at 8.45pm AEST.

Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin, said: “With four new teams, the new AFLW season marks a monumental moment in our great game and we cannot wait to bring Australians the biggest and best moments of what looks to be a nail-biting AFLW season.

“Once again, we have assembled an unbelievably talented, experienced and respected AFLW on-air line up, bolstered with some exciting familiar and fresh faces who Australia will love. We can’t wait to get started,” he said.

As the countdown to a season like no other gathers pace, the Seven Network is locked and loaded to deliver the epic seventh season of AFL Women’s coverage, live, free and in HD on Seven and 7plus.

For the first time in AFLW history, fans of all 18 clubs will see their colours represented on the biggest stage, when Hawthorn, Port Adelaide, Essendon and the Sydney Swans burst onto the field to join the 14 existing clubs for the biggest and best season yet.

This Friday night, Seven’s own Daisy Pearce and her Melbourne Demons head to Glenelg Oval to take on the Adelaide Crows in the Grand Final re-match, from 7.30pm AEST on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Then, in a monumental moment for the competition and footy fans alike, the highly anticipated inaugural AFLW match between debutantes Essendon and Hawthorn kicks off from Marvel Stadium at 7.00pm on Saturday night on 7mate and 7plus.

Rounding out Seven’s blockbuster AFLW Round One coverage, the Geelong Cats will host Richmond at GMHBA Stadium from 4.00pm AEST on Sunday, live on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Throughout the AFLW season, fans can stream Seven AFLW matches live and on demand on 7plus.

Fans in NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia can also watch every game involving teams from their home states live and free on Seven and 7plus across every round of the season.
