After Havertz is gone for COVID, Chelsea could also lose this key player after International break

The international break has resumed with players all in to represent their country. Chelsea is one of the top clubs in Europe who has got almost the entirety of their squad out on duty. With over 17 players out of the club to feature for national their national side.

Chelsea have played their last two games without sensational attacker Kai Havertz after the young German contracted Corona Virus about a week ago. The absence of Havertz was not really felt as Chelsea have a quality replacement.

After just a couple of days on international duty, Chelsea could have a man down before the end of the break. Kovacic may be forced out Chelsea’s squad to play right after the break, as the Croatian midfielder needs to be sure he hasn’t contracted a virus.

Domanoj Vida, the captain of Croatia confirmed he’s carrying the virus and has earlier trained with the entire team before the revelation. However, Mateo Kovacic would possibly be in self-isolation when the international break’s over. This means, the sensational midfielder would miss about a couple weeks for Chelsea when everyone’s back from national duty.
