Agnes Nandutu, Minister of State for Karamoja Affairs, was taken to a medical facility after allegedly affected by a blood clot after a sudden fall inside the toilet. Julius Mucunguzi, Adviser and Head of Communications at OPM, confirmed on Thursday 28 April 2022 that the minister had actually been involved in an accident and is at current receiving medical care.
