The globe was enthralled earlier this year by the latest South Korean zombie series, All Of Us Are Dead, which has just received some exciting news during Netflix’s Geeked Week Day One event.

Netflix’s Geeked Week reveal bonanza began today, June 6th, with an emphasis on their hit original shows, including the Korean zombie comedy All Of Us Are Dead.

Season 2 is confirmed to be in production for the streaming giant, according to a short video message from the cast.

Unfortunately, no release date for season 2 was revealed during the reveal event; however, with some of the cast members appearing to be reporting from a production set, it’s safe to assume that plans for the second epic season are already in the works.

This K-drama, directed by Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su, had a lot riding on it because it was based on Joo Dong-popular geun’s Naver Webtoon series “Now at Our School,” which was serialised between 2009 and 2011.

ALL OF US ARE DEAD SEASON 2 Plot

All of Us Are Dead was one of Netflix’s first Korean programs in 2022, and viewers were not disappointed by the coming-of-age high school zombie apocalypse.

Thankfully, fans around the world couldn’t get enough of All of Us Are Dead, with What’s On Netflix reporting that over 362 million hours of the zombie series were consumed within the first 30 days of its launch – rising to over 659 million by April 10^th.

As of June 6th, the hit Korean drama is scoring an impressive 8.4/10 on MyDramaList, 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.5/10 on IMDB, and 90% on AsianWiki.

Interestingly, the second season was hinted at soon after the series’ global popularity began to be understood, with the director noting the following to HypeBeast KR IN February 2022:
