Early life and career

She attended Buford High School in Georgia, where she played basketball under the tutelage of renowned coach Gene Durden, who was also the teacher for the class in which she created the multimedia presentation. She led the Ladies Wolves to three consecutive Class 2A state championships (2009-2011) and averaged 13 points per game in those years, making her one of the most important contributors to their success. She was unable to play during her senior year due to an injury.
