Arsenal are constantly considering possible signings in January Transfer in order to boost the strength of it’s squad after a poor Premier League start. According to sources, both AC Milan and Arsenal have made contacts with the representatives of Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumaré in the last week, the player himself would like to play on the Premier League.
It’s understood according to the Mirror Reports that Boubakary Soumaré has had fresh approaches from AC Milan and Arsenal in the last few days through intermediaries.
The sources claim that the player’s priority is a move to Arsenal, but he’s waiting to see what will happen with the two teams interested in him before deciding what he wants.
The 21 year old Lille’s Soumare, is a strong and powerful defensive midfielder. He has attracted huge amounts of interest from Europe’s top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter, Napoli and AC Milan.
Soumare’s potential move to Arsenal is a good news to majority of Arsenal fans as the club is currently considering strengthening it’s midfield.
Signing the player from Lille will offer Mikel Arteta varied options to play with two solid defensive midfielders to create a strong midfield build up upfront.
