Arsenal ‘already in talks with Frankfurt over £17m bid for winger Jesper Lindstrom’ – boss Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his squad in January transfer window
Arsenal have made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over Jasper Lindstrom, according to reports in Germany.
The Danish winger helped the Bundesliga side win the Europa League last season, earning them a place in the Champions League this season.
According to Bild, Gunners boss Arteta has opened talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over a move for Linstrom in the January transfer window.

Despite an astonishing top spot after seven games, Arteta is said to be keen to strengthen his small side, having failed to bring in anyone last season after seeing them lose several players in January, ending up with A two-point advantage missed the top four.
Winger Nicolas Pepe has been loaned to Nice, with talented youngster Marchinhos likely to join him on loan in January, while multi-talented star Lindstrom could be an option on the wing, also capable of playing at No. 10. position cover.

Bild also said a fee of around £17m could be enough to close the deal.
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is also believed to be of interest to the north London side.
