‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star Joe E. Tata dead at 85

Joe E. Tata — best known as the Taokeng owner of “Beverly Hills, 90210” — has passed away. He is 85 years old.

Actor Ian Ziering Remember Tata on Instagram On Thursday, it wrote: “Over the past few months we have lost Jessica Kline, one of 90210’s most prolific writers and producers, Dennis Douse, who played Mrs Teasley, and now I’m sorry Say Joe E Tata has passed away.

“Joey is a real OG, I remember seeing him and James Garner on ‘The Rockford Files’ before we worked together on ‘90210,’” Ziering, 58, said of his relationship with the original series star Shannen co-starred in The New Yorker saying Doherty, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris and the late Luke Perry.

“He was often one of the background villains in the original Batman franchise,” Ziering added. “He was one of the happiest people I’ve ever worked with, and his intelligence was as generous as his kindness.”

Tata was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014.

The Post has reached out to representatives of the veteran character actor for comment.

From 1990 to 2000, he starred in 238 episodes of “90210” as Nat Bussichio, the owner of a restaurant frequented by high school students.

Tata has played his role several times in spinoffs of the show.

His other credits include “Magnum, PI”, “The Rockford Files”, “Hill Street Blues”, “Batman” and “The A-Team”.
