BMW Motorrad introduces the Touring range in India, with prices starting at Rs 23.95 lakh. BMW Motorrad India has introduced four models of their flagship Touring line of motorcycles in India. The R 1250 RT is equipped with the same boxer engine as the R 1250 GS and costs Rs 23.95 lakh. The K 1600 line of motorcycles includes three models: the K 1600 B (Rs 29.90 lakh), the K 1600 GTL (Rs 32 lakh), and the K 1600 Grand America (Rs 33 lakh). BMW R 1250 RT: details
The BMW R 1250 RT has been updated with a new front fairing and a full LED headlamp for the current model year. This engine is identical to that of the instantly recognisable BMW R 1250 GS adventure motorcycle. The horizontally opposed 1,254cc twin-cylinder engine produces 134 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 143 Newton-meters of torque at 6,250 rpm. This propels the 279-kilogram monster from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 3.7 seconds. As is customary for a modern luxury touring motorcycle, this bike is loaded to the gills with electronic rider aids and creature comforts. The R 1250 RT has 17-inch wheels with front and rear tyres measuring 120/70 and 180/55 respectively.
BMW K 1600 range: details
The K 1600 series of motorcycles are the only mainstream inline-six cylinder motorcycles currently available for purchase. The 1,649cc six-cylinder engine produces 160 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 180 Newton-meters of torque at 5,250 rpm. The K 1600 B is the lightest, weighing 344 kilogrammes, while the other two are heavier. The motorcycles are equipped with 17-inch cast alloy wheels with 120/70 front and (slightly wider than the R 1250 RT) 190/55 rear tyres. These motorcycles are the flagship of the BMW Motorrad lineup in India and are outfitted with every rider aid and comfort-enhancing feature.

The K 1600 B is the most basic, bagger-like model in the K 1600 lineup, while the K 1600 GTL is the two-up long-distance tourer. The K 1600 GTL is the most luxurious of the three.
