Reportedly, the arrested man is 29 years of age but the real identity of the man has not been disclosed in the media as it is a matter of his privacy and for further investigation as well. As the Easter weekend is about to start in the city, arrangements are being developed by the authorities resulting in the closure of several roads or ways due to which chaos is being reported on the major highway. Around 10:30 AM on Thursday police officers noticed a man driving toward an officer. Officers even tried to stop the vehicle from northbound at Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway near the intersection of Stadium Drive. According to the reports, the man drove in direction of officers before one officer discharged his weapon. Meanwhile, the man was also got shot by the officers.
