After the rescue, eight people, including two women, were brought to the Sadar Hospital in Deoghar by ambulance at around 2.30 pm.

At the same time, around two o’clock in the afternoon, four people were brought to the Sadar Hospital. These include a woman and three youths. Saurabh Das and Devang Jai Pal, including women Jhuma Pal, are residents of Malda district of Bengal, while lawyer Kumar Mahato is a resident of Darbhanga Singhwara in Bihar. All have been admitted to the hospital after first aid.

Commandos from the helicopter of the Indian Air Force airlifted them all from the cabin of the ropeway. Army personnel reached the cabin with the help of a rope, then opened the gate and started taking people out one by one.
