For those unversed, video cameras are allowed in court in the US. Well, this has resulted in social media being flooded with spoof videos of the court case in the past few weeks. One of those videos belongs to the actor Jason Momoa. Let us add that the actor has worked with Amber in the Aquaman which was released in 2018. The 42-year-old actor also shared the screen with the actress in the forthcoming sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Even though the video is going viral on social media, Momoa has not been called as a witness in the trial.
However, social media users have shared their interpretation of what it could be like if he appeared in video testimony. The viral video was created by YouTuber GeoMFilms and since its spread, it has garnered over a million views. The 2 minutes 15-second video was only made to look like the actor had joined the trial through a video call link. In the video, Heard’s lawyer told Momoa not to say hello to her during the trial. The Aquaman actor then proceeded to crack a series of jokes. When asked about working as an actor alongside Heard, Momoa replies “No, as Janitors”.
The video further shows Johnny Depp bursting into laughter along with his lawyers and those who appeared in court. As already mentioned, the video is not real. It is taken from footage of Momoa in a 2020 interview that was carried out on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The creator of the viral footage has dubbed the video with fake quotes. He has adjusted it in a manner that it looks convincible. This also seems to be the reason why the video clip has been going viral on social media rapidly. Let us tell you that Jason Momoa had not taken the stand in the ongoing defamation trial. Stay tuned with us!
