Early life and education

Although Bunkall was born in Bristol in February 1982, he spent his childhood in the little town of Buckland Newton, which is located in the county of Dorset in the south-western region of England.

Sherborne School is an independent boarding school for boys located in the town of Sherborne in Dorset in the south-western region of England. After graduating from Sherborne School, Bunkall attended the University of Bristol in the city of Bristol, which is also located in the south-western region of England.

 In 2004, he earned a Post Graduate Degree from City University, which is located in the heart of London.

Life and career

Bunkall is a seasoned foreign journalist who has worked for Sky News for almost a decade. During that time, he has filed stories from over 30 different countries, including coverage of events in Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, and the West Bank and Gaza.

In addition to this, he is one of the very few western journalists who has ever reported from North Korea.
