Actor Devin Ratray, best known for starring in Home Alone, Under investigation in New York City After he was accused of raping his friend in 2017.
Ratray, who played Buzz McCallister in the 1990 hit film, allegedly assaulted Lisa Smith in his Manhattan apartment five years earlier, According to CNN.
Smith claims the 45-year-old actor drugged her before sexually assaulting her. She filed a police report shortly after the alleged torture.
Ratley has denied all allegations against him and told the media that he “had no sexual relationship” with Smith.
Ratray was arrested last year on domestic violence charges, following his arrest in an unrelated incident. Accused of trying to strangle his then-girlfriend.
He was later released on $25,000 bail and pleaded not guilty.
After her arrest in December, Smith began to wonder why her case had not been investigated.
according to CNNthe case was put on hold because police believed Smith did not want to bring charges against Ratray.
Smith is now “in contact” with officials handling the case. She told the media that prosecutors recently investigated her phone and text messages and contacted potential witnesses.
Smith told the outlet she was “shocked” that her report was not immediately investigated.
Smith detailed the night of the alleged attack on September 21, 2017, when she said she had been drinking with Ratley and her brother and another friend. They later went to Ratley’s apartment, where she claimed she was drugged by the actor, CNN Report.
“I remember waking up and I couldn’t move. I couldn’t really open my eyes, but I could hear what was going on, I could feel what was going on. I knew the other two were gone and I was still on the couch on,” Smith told the media.
Smith claims the actor sexually assaulted her for what appeared to be “eternal”.
After stints on the “Home Alone” series, Rattray went on to star in several films, including 2013’s “Nebraska,” “Blue Rain” and most recently, “Kimi.”
The Post reached out to Ratray’s representatives and the NYPD for comment.
