On September 14, flash floods struck Gar County in southern France, causing damage and dangerous driving conditions. Connexion reported that it rained nearly two months in six hours. In one hour at Sandionigi (west of Neem), 4.4 inches (111mm) fell and 7.2 inches (184mm) fell in three hours. Meteo France placed the area under red storm and flood warnings, but was subsequently lowered to orange warnings along several surrounding areas. A video posted that day shows a flood of stables at a horseback riding center in Nimes, France. Credit: sheriff_gadget via Storyful
