Fans of the long-awaited ‘House of the Dragon’ TV series feel the lack of an epic opening opening sequence Similar to Game of Thrones at the premiere on Sunday night.

Viewers who tuned in to the first episode of the already controversial HBO spinoff noticed that the show had just the right amount of action but lacked the opening sequence, which was scored by Ramin Djawadi.

The original “GoT” opening was a fan favorite, as the intense instrumental music transported audiences into a fantasy world from directors Miguel Sapochnik and Djawadi.

Fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the decision.

“Dragon House has great pilots but no cool opener. Pain,” one disappointed fan Say.

“The only thing missing from the Dragon House is the fire theme,” another tweet.

“Hopefully there will be an opening for the next episode, House of Dragons needs an opening!!!!!!!!!!!! We love the opening title!!!!!!!” one excited viewer wrote.

However, fans won’t be disappointed for long. HBO confirmed to The Post that a major title sequence will appear in the second episode.

A show insider also told The Washington Post that the lack of an opening for the GoT prequel series was a creative choice made by the show’s producers to allow the story to unfold immediately, adding that the sequence, graded by Djawadi, felt like an “indulgence.” .”

The new spinoff, about the dragon-riding, incestuous Targaryens, takes place some 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, which ran from 2011 to 2019. The new show is based on the book Fire and Blood by George RR Martin. “

Once the show actually started – with so many people trying to air it at once, HBO Max apparently broke down – initial social media reactions indicated fans were “in tears” and the first episode was “beautiful” and “absolutely brilliant.”

House of the Dragon airs every Sunday at 9pm ET hyperbaric.
