House of the Dragon: trailer » Olite


The official House of the Dragon trailer has been released today.

The prequel to Game of Thrones will be available to stream at the same time as the U.S. in August.

The series, based on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy novel “Fire & Blood,” which is set 200 years before the events of GoT, tells the story of House Targaryen.

The cast includes Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, Rhys Ifans plus Aussies Milly Alcock (Upright) as Young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ryan Corr (Packed to the Rafters, Bloom, Holding the Man) as Ser Harwin ‘Breakbones’ Strong.

Additional cast includes Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes and Savannah Steyn.

In addition to the trailer being released, a new augmented reality app, House of the Dragon: DracARys, has been released globally to celebrate the arrival of the anticipated series. The app will allow each user to hatch their personalised, virtual dragon egg, enabling them to “raise” their dragon at home.

House of the Dragon is Co-Created/Executive Produced by George R.R. Martin.
