In Delta: Kidnappers Go On Rampage, Attack Four Vehicles And Take All Passengers Hostage Into The Bush

A serious kidnapping incident took place this evening around 6pm in Warri, Delta State, the attack was carried out under railway bridge, after Agofure filling station at Agbarho.

The kidnapping attack was carried on a Keke napep, an Agofure bus, a Siena car and one other red car where according to reports, all passengers on board in the various vehicles were taken hostage into the bush.

The police arrived later at the scene but by then the kidnappers have taken the hostages into the bush.

The police team cleared the area for other motorist to pass and sent a team to brief its state commissioner on the unfortunate incidence.

The issue of banditry, kidnapping and terrorism seem to have a serious resurgence across various states within the country; it is worrisome due to the serious threat to one’s safety in the contemporary Nigeria of nowadays, where even law enforcement agencies are not spared out of it with the unlawful detention, killing and intimidation of innocent citizens by FSARS. One doesn’t know where to be safe again; we pray for the various families and for the unconditional release of those being held hostage by the kidnappers.
