According to the government, India will launch 5G in October.

According to Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, 5G services should begin to be offered in the nation by October. The government will attempt to assign the spectrum to successful bidders by August 10th.

However, if Jio is successful in launching 5G in India in such a short amount of time, it will be the countryโ€™s first-ever deployment of 5G networks. In response to a question about the spectrum purchase, Akash Ambani stated, โ€œThe company is fully ready for 5G rollout in the shortest span due to its nationwide fiber presence, all-IP network with no legacy infrastructure, indigenous 5G stack, and strong global partnership across the technology ecosystem.โ€
