
Pop icon Janet Jackson sold her chic Manhattan apartment — definitely not for a song.
The 56-year-old legendary singer parted ways with her roughly 2,100-square-foot (nearly 25 years) Central Park West crib for $8.8 million, The Wall Street Journal first reported. That’s just shy of the $8.99 million she was seeking when she went public in April.
The WSJ notes that since 1998, the “Reunited” star has purchased a $2.8 million ($5.13 million in today’s inflation-adjusted figure) through a legal entity called the Puffy Trust. this apartment. The new owner is a limited liability company called Nanyang Properties Holdings.
Located at 1 Central Park West, it has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one and a half bathrooms. What’s more, it has views of Central Park — the entire green expanse can be seen from a single dining counter in the kitchen — and the super-tall towers along the nearby Billionaires Row.





An entry gallery leads to an open living and dining area. The library has a custom millwork wall—and the unit also has floor-to-ceiling windows and 10-foot ceilings. The unit is located in an apartment attached to the Trump International Hotel, just off the southwest entrance to Columbus Circle and Central Park.
