According to Vanity Fair, Jeff Bridges fell ill in early 2022 and is in poor health.

In a new interview with People magazine, the actor says the past 18 months have felt like a “weird dream” after he was told he had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and nearly died from COVID-19.

He went to the doctor because he had stomach pains while exercising. Doctors told him he had a 12-by-9-inch tumor in his body.

Bridges was immediately told he had cancer, and after the chemotherapy infusion, he started taking chemotherapy pills. It’s a good thing his doctors were able to remove the tumor quickly.

While his chances of beating cancer got better, his health got worse when he contracted COVID-19 in January 2021. This was because the chemotherapy had severely damaged his immune system.
