Jeff Bridges 2022 Disease and Health Update

According to Vanity Fair, Jeff Bridges fell ill in early 2022 and is in poor health.

In a new interview with People magazine, the actor says the past 18 months have felt like a “weird dream” after he was told he had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and nearly died from COVID-19.

He went to the doctor because he had stomach pains while exercising. Doctors told him he had a 12-by-9-inch tumor in his body.

Bridges was immediately told he had cancer, and after the chemotherapy infusion, he started taking chemotherapy pills. It’s a good thing his doctors were able to remove the tumor quickly.

While his chances of beating cancer got better, his health got worse when he contracted COVID-19 in January 2021. This was because the chemotherapy had severely damaged his immune system.

Does Jeff Bridges have oral cancer?

He was thought to have cancer in his mouth because he talked about having cancer and his accent and voice changed after he was diagnosed.

On October 19, 2020, Bridges said he was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy. On September 12, 2021, the actor said his cancer was over.

Bridges also said he contracted COVID-19 while receiving treatment, a difficult situation he said made cancer “seem like a piece of cake.” He said he had just had his last COVID-19 vaccine.

Due to his illness, he experienced severe pain for about five months. At one point, he couldn’t even roll over in bed without a nurse giving him oxygen.

Bridges received a treatment called convalescent plasma, which uses blood from people who have recovered from COVID-19, and he started to feel better.

What’s wrong with Jeff Bridges’ voice?

Fans immediately noticed a change in Jeff Bridges’ voice after talking about cancer.

The actor said he used dentures because of his mustache that you can’t see, making his voice in Seventh Son exactly the way it sounds.

He is no longer ill and is back to work on a new film. But he admits that what really makes him happy is being able to spend more time with his wife, Susan.

Bridges also said he is working with a therapist so he can eventually walk without an oxygen tank. Dad set the goal so he could walk down the aisle at daughter Hailey’s wedding.
