Just In: Argentine Legend Passes On After Suffering Cardiac Arrest

Argentine legend, world cup hero and former Argentina national coach, Diego Armando Maradona at 60 (30 October 1960 – 25 November 2020) has passed on sadly due to a cardiac arrest just two weeks after being released from the hospital. About two weeks ago, he was released from the hospital after undergoing a surgery for bleeding in his brain. A lot of fans and well wishers gathered around the hospital and wished for speedy recovery for the man who was integral to winning the 1986 Worldcup for Argentina. He also played for Barcelona, Napoli, Boca Juniors and others. He was famous for a lot of things, including the Worlcup win for Argentina national team and his goal popularly called “The Hand of God”.

This is a great loss for Argentina, South American football and football as a whole as he is regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, second to none as a footballing hero in his country.
