Kevin Piaskowski Death, Obituary – As a result of a shooting that resulted in a fatality along Interstate 70 in Colorado, a teenager has been charged as an adult. On Tuesday, the Denver District Attorney’s Office shared an update with the public regarding the investigation into the case. Kevin Piaskowski, who was 31 years old at the time, was killed in the shooting that took place on July 31 at approximately 11 p.m.

According to a portion of a press release distributed by the Denver District Attorney’s Office, the following is an excerpt: “Denver Police Officers responded to the area of westbound I-70 and N. Quebec Street on reports of a vehicle accident and shooting, in which the suspect fired shots at another vehicle driven by Piaskowski, crashed the vehicle he was driving and fled on foot.” The incident occurred after the suspect fired shots at another vehicle driven by Piaskowski.

Jameel James, age 17, was determined to be the person responsible for the crime. James is accused of first-degree murder, theft of a motor vehicle, breaking a probation order for having a firearm, and one count of possessing a firearm as a juvenile. In addition, James is charged with one count of possessing a firearm as a juvenile.
