
Four bodies found Wednesday from a pond in Indianapolis have been identified as those of a missing man and his three children.
The Marion County coroner’s office said the dead were Kyle Moorman, 27, Kyle Moorman II, 5, Kayna Holland, 2, and Kyle Holland, 1. . Moorman is the father of the children.

The Indianapolis Police Department issued a press release this week asking for the public’s help in finding Moorman and his children. They have been missing since July 6, when Moorman told his family he was going fishing, WTHR reported.
Police said they received the call shortly after 7.30pm. ET Tuesday, with the help of fire department divers, the body of a man who was pronounced dead at the scene was recovered.
Kyle Moorman and his children were located after dozens of family members, friends and volunteers searched the pond near the intersection of Bluff Road and West Troy Avenue for days. Investigators were told that Kyle Moorman had not been contacted since 11pm. July 6, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. On July 9, a family member reported her missing.
Detectives contacted Kyle Moorman’s family on Sunday, July 10, and learned that he has custody of all three children. They were told he had “no mental illness, no substance abuse, nor did he make suicide threats or threaten to harm the child,” according to a press release.
Kyle Moorman, 27, was last seen around 11pm on Wednesday, July 6. On the 1000 block of South Sherman Avenue in Indianapolis.
The missing man’s sister, Mariah Moorman, said by the pond on Monday that Kyle Moorman’s phone last rang around 12:40 a.m. on July 7.
“As far as we know, he’s here to fish,” Maria Moorman said. “He told my sister. It’s not surprising. He does it all the time. They go night fishing a lot.”
Those looking for Kyle Morman walked around the pond and the surrounding area, asking nearby businesses if they could view security footage and asking those present if they saw anything suspicious.
Other members of the search team used magnets to search the bottom of the pond Monday night and walked around the body of water for signs of the missing man and his children.
Two Greenwood residents heard about the case and went out to sea to search the pond from Monday night to Tuesday morning. A private helicopter flew over the pond and surrounding area on Tuesday afternoon.
“If anyone wants to come and help us, we’ll take a walk here,” Maria Moorman said before her brother and child were found. “Come and help. We need help finding him and these kids.”
Family and friends of missing man pooled funds to offer $10,000 reward for information on her whereabouts.
First responders with flashlights and K-9s circled around the pond in the 2900 block of Bluff Road late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. They trained large searchlights on the water as they gathered near a ramp near the Bluff Road car park to enter the pond.

Police have been on foot and elsewhere in the area, using drones to search for Kyle Moorman and his children.
