Alex Telles could be incoming before the deadline, though, from Porto, while Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona is among a host of attackers being linked with a move to Old Trafford, as an alternative to Sancho.

Man United to sign Pellistri on Monday

Two Uruguayans, you say? Manchester United are close to signing Edinson Cavani and reports now suggest he will be joined by his countryman Facu Pellistri at Old Trafford.

United have agreed a fee said to be worth around €10m to sign the 18-year-old winger from Penarol, according to Uruguayan journalist Sebas Giovanelli.
