The Country Music Association and ABC hold an annual awards ceremony to celebrate the genre of country music, and this year’s ceremony will be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Bryan returns after his first hosting role at the 2021 awards ceremony, and Manning will host for the first time. But it’s no stranger to being in front of the camera. He previously hosted ESPY in 2017, and currently shares commentary duties with his brother Eli on another “Manningcast” edition of ESPN’s Monday Night Football, and hosts “Peyton’s Places” for ESPN.
“It was an honor to be part of such a historic evening honoring my peers and country music,” Bryan said in a statement. “When I was asked if Peyton Manning was someone I would consider co-hosting, I had No hesitation. We’ve become good friends over the years and he brings something that would make it even more explosive. I know he’s been to CMA awards before, but he’s never been with me. Hey Payton, I hope You are ready for the night of your life!”
“I can’t wait to go to Nashville to be at the CMA Awards with my friend Luke Bryan,” Manning said. “I’m a huge fan of country music, so it’s an absolute honor to have the opportunity to be among so many talented artists.”
