Manchester United have all but lost another battle again on Grealish. After a disappointing negotiations with BVB to sign Sancho, which ended with the Germans self imposed deadline closing any further more transfer discussions. Now another blow to United as their long term target Jack Grealish has reported signed a new contract with Villa. Speaking after signing his new contract ,” I am delighted to make this commitment to Villa. It is my club, my home and I am very happy hear. The owners have made it very clear to me how ambitions they are and how they want to build Aston Villa. There are exciting times ahead and i am very glad to be part of it.” The Villa captain has been long been linked with moves to United and Ole Gunnar is a big fun of the young English talent.Grealish earned his first controversial international call up after a disappointing snub several times by Gareth Southgate. He seems to have taken his opportunity with all his both hands. These kind of news leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pondering on his next move, having thought of bringing Grealish to Old Trafford to offer competition to Paul and Bruno. Though he has signed Van de Beek it’s not a direct ticket to premier league glory. What is awaited to be seen is what if Villa drops to relegation this season? Will they still keep Grealish? Will Jack opt to play at championship level ? Will Villa demand more than what they wanted this summer for Grealish if they drop to championship? All this questions will be answered when the current season comes to an end, and hopefully we will see this young English talent tearing teams apart in the top flight come next season again.
