Alex Telles

With just a few days to go to the closing of the transfer window, Manchester United have only made one addition to their senior squad – Ajax and Netherlands midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Reports via the Telegraph suggests that United could pull out of a deal for Porto’s Brazilian defender Alex Telles.

Porto’s are asking Manchester United to pay £18m for their star man but United have only offered half of that amount.

Manchester United could still sign the Brazilian in January as the player will become a free agent after this season and is allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club by January.

Thomas Partey

Chelsea could hijack Arsenal’s move for Atletico Madrid and Ghana defensive midfielder Thomas Partey, with the Blues said to be weighing an option on the Ghanaian having failed to reach an agreement for West Ham United’s England midfielder Declan Rice.

The Hammers are said to be insisting on a fee of more than £80m for Rice but Chelsea are unwilling to pay having already spent £200m in the transfer market.

Partey could present a cheaper alternative to Rice having only a £45m release clause on his contract.

Lucas Ocampos

Report suggests that Manchester United have identified a third option if they cannot sign Dortmund’s England winger Jadon Sancho, 20, or Barcelona’s French forward Ousmane Demebele, 23, before the transfer window closes on Monday.

Sevilla’s Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos have emerged as a target for United with the Spanish side willing to part ways with the Argentine for a fee of around £35m.

Ocampos played an important role for Sevilla last season scoring a total of 17 goals for the club and helping in the Europa League competition to eliminate United at the semi final stages and going all the way to lift the trophy.

Ousmane Demebele

Manchester United target Ousmane Demebele, 23, looks likely to join Manchester United from Spanish side Barcelona.

The 23-year-old was reluctant in the move but is said to be convinced to join the Old Trafford side after fellow country man Paul Pogba called him but the Frenchman agreed on one condition – that the transfer be permanent – although Barcelona have not sanctioned any potential move yet.

Leeds United are said to be interested in the Wales winger, with the club offering £25m to Manchester United for the player which United could use to fund the transfer of the England winger from Dortmund. (Football Insider)
