Marijuana: Apart From Cancer, Here Are Other Diseases It Can Cure

Cannabis, popularly referred to as marijuana, is the most controversial plant in the world. This is as a result of the different opinions and views people have about it. Some claim it is bad, while others claim otherwise. Which ever way we choose to consider it, we cannot deny the fact that marijuana is a herbal plant that grows naturally from the ground just like every other herb.

Do you know that It was once a popular belief that marijuana causes cancer? This belief was recently debunked when scientists discovered overwhelming and numerous uses of marijuana in combating a number of sicknesses and diseases.

It was discovered that apart from curing cancer, marijuana could also be used for treating other ailments.

The first person recorded to have used cannabis was Shen Nung. According to history, he used it for medicinal purpose in 2737 BC. In his book titled “The Shennong Ben Cao Jing” Shen Nung recommended marijuana as a medication for:

 

* Rhuematism,

* Mentrual problems,

* Gout,

* Maleria and

* Absent mindedness.

Over the years, scientists have discovered, and are still discovering the numerous medical benefits of this plant called marijuana/cannabis.

So far, it has been discovered that marijuana can be used to treat the following:

No wonder countries are now beginning to legalise the use of marijuana in their respective territories, after it was first banned in the 14th century AD by an Emir in Arabia called Soudoun Sheikouni

It is the belief of many cannabis/marijuana users in countries where it is still being criminalised that it would one day be decriminalised as nations like Canada, Italy, Paraguay, Uruguay, Neitherland, South Africa, Lesotho and even Zimbabwe have all legalized it In their different countries.
