Monday Ratings | THE BLOCK continues to triumph

With THE MASKED SINGER AUSTRALIA and MKR nearly over can the next offerings from 10 and 7 shake down Nine’s blockbuster reality reno show?

A Current Affair (740,000) leaps out of the gates for Nine (want to buy an island?), as The Block (744,000) slips on Sunday though still easily wins primetime. Emergency (358,000) draws an OK audience though eclipsed by 10’s HYBPA, and then the schedule splits for 100% Footy (44,000) and Footy Classified (159,000), and returns with Fortunate Son (32,000).
Nine first in both primary (21.9%) and network (28.2%) rankings.

Home & Away (482,000) starts again as Seven’s best after 7pm (which is saying something)…because MKR (472,000) drops on Sunday’s ep and into fourth place in primetime. 9-1-1: Lone Star (186,000) and S.W.A.T. (112,000) draw small audiences that benefit from Total TV, and the night finishes with 7plus content Heartbreak Island Australia (DNR).
Seven second in both primary (17.8%) and network (25.5%) rankings.

The Project (267,000 6:30pm; 395,000 7pm) ticks up a little from Sunday, though still down on its usual weeknight figures for 10. The Masked Singer Australia (552,000 avg (491,000 show; 612,000 reveal)) surges as it heads to next week’s final ep, and Have You Been Paying Attention? (687,000) lifts too. The Bridge Australia (194,000) draws a reasonable audience for its taster in the late night.
10 third in both primary (16.4%) and network (21.9%) rankings.

7:30 (526,000) and Back Roads (522,000) couple to deliver a strong primetime, slipping into third overall. Four Corners (351,000) slides, and therefore so does Media Watch (348,000). China Tonight (158,000) draws a smaller audience, before repeats of Q+A (40,000) and Vera (90,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (12.5%) and network (16.9%) rankings.

A quiet night for SBS, with Saving Lives At Sea (102,000), DNA Family Secrets (159,000), and a repeat of 24 Hours In Emergency (126,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (7.4%) rankings.
