Murad Merali, a Love Island blogger, apologizes for his foot videos. Murad Merali, a blogger for Love Island, has expressed regret for posting offensive race play s*x videos online. The podcast host and YouTuber has experienced a surge in popularity and is friends with Islanders like Amber Gill and Kaz Kamwi. He is best known for his fiery interviews with Love Island stars. The blogger is seen fetishizing black and Asian men in the videos, which are too graphic and disturbing to be shared in full.
The blogger encourages the men to drink his urine from a glass while stamping his feet on their faces while they are wearing gimp masks. While this was going on, fans came to the conclusion that Murad was only dehumanizing the men for his own s*x pleasure because the videos were shared with captions full of racial slurs. Murad addresses the videos that have since gone viral on Twitter in a video that has amassed over 45,000 views on YouTube. He claims that his “foot fetish” was inspired by being “raped” as a teenager. He told his 297k YouTube subscribers, “First and foremost, the written content is not me, the derogatory comments are not written by me and I will stand by that, this is not who I am.

I can apologize profusely and accept full responsibility for how this came across and how everyone felt as a result of this content. Some of it is also not mine.

Not right now, not recently in the last five or six years, and not at this very moment, but some of this content is me. Murad continues by admonishing that he did not write the “vile racist verbiage” in the screenshot captions.

People create their own captions and combine them with their own images for their own satisfaction, as well as to fulfill their own fantasies, ideas, or other personal desires. He claimed that he did not write any of this material.
Murad then asserts that he was “severely raped” “countless times” when he was 14 years old. He acknowledges that the mistreatment “f***ed me up” and that he “never got it out of my head.” Murad asserts that he started making the explicit videos because he “needed to make money” to leave his abuser and that as a result of the abuse, he developed a “foot fetish.” Murad has come under fire from fans for both denying the videos are racist and for acting “aggressively” in his video of apology.

Murad Merali frequently criticizes people for their microaggressions and racist behavior, but one fan tweeted, “This is the s* he gets up to behind closed doors you couldn’t write this s* omg.” [sic] “This Murad Merali controversy is not a justification for homophobia or anti-s*xism. Many people have strange and disturbing fetishes, but if it’s not your thing, then don’t do it. Turn to your front and proceed. The problem, according to another, is the racism-related slurs. [sic] Fans are now requesting that the YouTuber be terminated.
