NEET UG 2022: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 for admission to the undergraduate course in medicine will be held on 17 July 2022. The exam will be conducted in 497 cities in the country and 14 cities outside the country. More than 18 lakh registrations have been done for NEET UG 2022. Girls candidates appearing for NEET UG exam will have to follow a certain dress code.

The NTA notice states that the candidates appearing for the examination in traditional dress will have to reach the examination center at least two hours before the reporting time. so that a proper search can be done. Also, NTA has the right to ask the candidates to take the shoes out of the examination center in order to ensure that the dress code is followed. Apart from this, wearing of jewelry (not allowed other than faith), sunglasses, watches (not even analog), caps, etc. is not allowed.

NEET 2022: Dress Code for Female and Male Candidates

• Candidates can appear for the exam by wearing casual and weather-appropriate clothes.
• Wearing sandals and an open sleeper with short heels is allowed.
• Wearing traditional clothes is allowed. But in this situation, one has to reach the examination center at least 2 hours before the reporting time. in order to conduct a thorough search.
• The examination can be given by wearing the accessories of faith (custom/culture/religious). But one has to reach the exam center at least 2 hours before the reporting time.
• Wearing light-colored full sleeve clothing is not allowed.
• Wearing shoes is not allowed to take the exam.
