The Popular Democratic Party, PDP, has finally reacted to the statements made by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the Congress of All Progressives.
The National Secretary of Publicity of the PPD, Hon. Debo Ologunagba responded by saying that Tinubu is intimidated by the achievement of his presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Tinubu said on Saturday that he wondered why the PDP still exists.
The APC presidential candidate said that his opposition (PDP) spent 16 years and failed to make good use of the rail infrastructure.
He said;
“They (PDP) got there and turned it into an incubator. I wonder why they still exist as a party. These are people who are still fighting for the leadership of their party, looking for the direction of the compass.”
PDP in response stated;
“It is distressing that Asiwaju Tinubu speaks like someone under the influence with incoherent and distracted speech that further exposes the lack of leadership capacity, especially at the presidential level.”
“From his rambling speech, the APC presidential candidate appears to be struggling with issues of ethical challenges and disqualification from running for office due to inconsistencies in his educational qualifications, name, ancestry, age, corruption allegations among myriad issues.”
