Police in Niger State acknowledged they prevented a theft on Morocco Road inside the state’s Suleja Local Government Area.
The spokesman, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, made the announcement in Minna on Saturday.
According to Abiodun, 5 alleged thieves stormed a mobile machine gadget retailer on Morocco Road in Suleja. They fired sporadic gun pictures and snatched some cell telephones from a retailer.
He acknowledged that after receiving information, police brokers from Suleja Area Command rushed to the location, whereas the thieves fled in a Peugeot 406 with registration amount ABJ 467 GX.
According to Abiodun, the thieves abandoned the truck and fled into the forest after a fierce pursuit in route of the navy put up at Zuma Rock.
However, police and navy operations are on the trail of the fleeing criminals in order to apprehend them.
The Commissioner of Police, Monday Bala Kuryas, urged the parents to not concern, saying that security personnel had been on prime of the issue and that any additional developments may very well be made public.
Kuryas enlisted the help of residents by providing credible particulars about questionable individuals in order to impress security movement.
