The football idol better known as “El Pibe de Oro” (“The Golden Boy”) earned the nickname with this exceptional talent and ball handling capabilities.

The maestro enjoyed a blissful career as he was a playmaker who operated in the classic number 10 position. He  earned 91 caps and scored 34 goals for Argentina and he played for an array of clubs across Europe

He started his career with the Argentinos Juniors just 10 days shy to his 16th birthday and he went on to play for Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla and Newell’s Old Boys.
