New Zealand’s Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Pine Gap, McLeod’s Daughters) is joining Season 2 of US survival / psychological horror Yellowjackets.
Kessell will play Lottie Matthews, with Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road), who plays the teen version of Lottie, upped to series regular in Season Two.
She joins recently announced Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, Servant), who will play the adult version of Van.
Yellowjackets is the saga of a high school girls soccer players who become the survivors of a plane crash deep in remote wilderness. 25 years later, they learn what began out in the wilderness is far from over.
Season one averaged over 5 million weekly global viewers across Paramount platforms.
The series will go into production later this month in Vancouver.
