Snoop Dogg has launched a YouTube channel called “Doggyland – Children’s Songs and Nursery Rhymes” Designed to help children learn social-emotional skills through rap, dance and song.
The “Young, Wild, Free” rapper teamed up with Emmy-nominated producer and creator of the children’s series “Hip Ha Lee” Claude Brooks and singer-songwriter October London on the series .
For toddlers and 8-year-olds, the show showcases colorful dogs in a vibrant world where they sing fun and educational songs and teach social, learning and cognitive skills.
The rapper, best known for hits such as “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Life of Da Party” – will change direction in his latest project for popular children’s songs like “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes” and “Wheels on the bus.”
According to the site, the songs will cover a wide range of engaging topics such as letters, numbers, colors, animals, good habits, hygiene, accepting others and more, as well as modern remixes of classic nursery rhymes.
“Our music is produced by award-winning producers and singers to create tunes that everyone in the family can enjoy, allowing parents to participate in their children’s learning experience,” the website said. “The show features a group of puppies. Centered and led by an adult mentor named Bow Wizzle. Each dog is a different color and shape to help promote diversity and inclusion.”

The rapper voices the lead character, Bow Wizzle, who serves as an adult mentor to the other actors. Other characters include Wags, voiced by October London, who always cheers for his friends. Yap Yap, a high-spirited character with a “smooth Arthur’s voice” known for his positive and cheerful personality; Chow Wow, an empathetic team player; according to the site, Barks-A-Locks are a group of curious A man who is always discovering new adventures.
Snoop Dogg’s latest announcement has parents and fans excited about the show’s release.
“I don’t even care if this is for real babies, we need to check!” one Facebook user declared.
“We basically don’t have to be parents anymore,” joked another.
There are currently four videos uploaded to the channel, with new videos posted every Tuesday.
