Sunday night’s premiere episode of the Australian version of Hunted was watched by a national audience of 884,000 viewers (619k metro). While it was a strong start for the new Channel 10 series, it was not enough to win the night based on national data.
That honour went to the first of two Hey Hey It’s Saturday – Red Faces specials on Channel 7 with a national audience of 944,000 viewers nationally (592k metro). Strong audience figures in regional markets once again playing a key role for the network.
The premiere episode for season two of Beauty and the Geek on Channel 9 was a distant third with a national audience of 616,000 viewers (476k metro).
Data provided by Channel 10 indicates Hunted delivered the network its biggest show launch on 10 since The Amazing Race Australia in 2019.
