BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Years Edition: exterior features

Compared to the standard X7, the 50 Years M Edition features significant exterior modifications and is available exclusively in Mineral White and Carbon Black BMW Individual paint colours. These modifications include the gloss black kidney grille and the gloss black brake callipers on the 21-inch black alloy wheels.

As with previous special editions, the BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition SUV features additional M badges – at the front, rear, and on the hub caps – inspired by early BMW Motorsport race cars, as well as a distinctive design with blue, violet, and red semicircles. BMW offers an optional M Accessories Package with an Alcantara-finished steering wheel, key fob, and carbon-fiber-finished wing mirror caps.

On the inside, the layout and cabin are identical to those of the standard X7 40i M Sport, with glass inserts on the gear selector, the iDrive control knob, the audio control button, and the start/stop button serving as notable additions. The 50 Jahre M Edition retains the standard car’s features, which include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and infotainment system, five-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, two 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment screens for rear passengers, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition retains the standard car’s 3.0-liter, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 340 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque. The special edition X7 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds thanks to its 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
