The launch of the Lamborghini Huracan in India has been confirmed.

It’s rather amazing that the Huracan Tecnica, a supercar of such high caliber, is finding its way to India barely five months after its global debut. In fact, Lamborghini informed India that orders had been trickling in from customers for a few months at this point.

The automaker just delivered the 200th Urus, continuing a recent streak of success in India. The Urus has been pushing sales for the company’s super-sports cars, according to Sharad Agarwal, head of Lamborghini India, who recently told. This could account for the sudden interest in Tecnica. Additionally, Lamborghini India recently acquired a small number of allotments of the extremely rare Aventador Ultimate.

The Tecnica, according to Rouven Mohr, a chief technological officer of Lamborghini, is “more or less a combination of both [current] automobiles.” The Huracan Tecnica, which Lamborghini claims makes it the most adaptable vehicle in the lineup, combines the usability of the ordinary Huracan Evo and the track-focused performance of the Huracan STO.

The mechanical structure is the same as that of the STO: a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine with a capacity of 640 horsepower drives just the rear wheels with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The more extreme STO, however, skips over its insane aerodynamics package and weight-saving program.

Instead, the hybrid hypercar Sian, which is based on the Aventador, serves as the Huracan Tecnica’s design influence. Similar angular bodywork to that of the Sian is present on the front and back fascias, and the rear diffuser is more noticeable than on the Evo. A fixed rear spoiler is also included.

Along with a carbon-fiber bonnet, rear-wheel steering, and carbon ceramic brakes are included as standard equipment. In terms of overall performance, it is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 9.1 seconds, and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.

Due to Tecnica’s position as a direct competitor to the Porsche 911 GT3, Lamborghini claims that driver participation is the single most significant aspect of the car’s personality, with approachable on-the-limit handling taking precedence.
