Our resident beer writer (the best job in the world, right ?!) sipped everything from EmuExport to barrel-aged imperial porters.

Try this week’s bite and he gives Tiny this week and his verdict on whether it’s worth breaking it with his peers.

What is the name of the beer?

Bulter Easy Hazy

Where are you from?

This 4% hazy India Pale Ale is courtesy of Bulter, King of Crafts in Queensland.

To remind beer lovers that there are only two types of beer, given the brew-ha-ha after Stone and Wood owner Fermentum was sold to Lion (hence the giant Japanese giraffe) this week. I wanted to pause.

Good and bad.

Bulters tend to make the former.

Head Brewer Scott Hargrave and his team worked on Easy Hazy through other low-alcohol releases such as Bunker Buster, Super Shipper, Quaf Bomb, and Session Hazy. All of this was poured into the Currumbin Waters tap room.

Bulter tested this new beer market a few months ago and is now adding it to the core range “full time” alongside the popular Captain Sensible Mid-Strength Ale.

What’s special about it?

Banana Bender isn’t crazy about the medium-strength hazy boys that change this game. It offers two-thirds of the typical East Coast style IPA liquor without sacrificing aroma or flavor.

Easy Hazy is very cloudy and subtly tropical, with US hops providing lime, passion fruit and coconut on a roll base of wheat for a refreshing, spicy finish.

This 4% release is in line with everything Balter’s 6% Hazy IPA does, but it’s a bit lighter in taste.

Perhaps its light taste makes Eazy Hazy the perfect beer for summer barbecues, especially if you’re a skipper.

And, as Balter himself says, “Why do party poppers use dynamite sticks to do tricks?”

Do I need to share it?

of course not. That is the point.

What is the damage?

Balter Eazy Hazy comes out of the door for about $ 5 per can, $ 16 for 4 packs, and $ 50 for 16 delicious cans. Easy money.

evaluation?

4 out of 5 cans.
