The popular teenage rapper Camrin Williams who was lately, accused of shooting the New York Police department officer is again in the headlines and creating buzzes. Charges against him for shooting a New York Police department official have been dropped off. Earlier in the year 2022, the popular rap star was accused of shooting New York Police officer during a brawl in the Bronx. The news about the dropping of charges against Camrin was announced by the City Law Department.

The city Law Department released an official statement on Friday 20 May 2022, announcing this news. Camrin was accused of shooting New York Police department Official named Kaseem Pennant in the leg. The dreadful incident and the brawl occurred in January earlier this year. Justice Denis Boyle of Bronx Supreme court set the bond amount of $250000, for Camrin William.

Camrin William paid his bond amount of $250000 in February. He paid his bond amount by his advance payment, which he got from signing his recording contract with Interscope records. Camrin was held back to a Juvenile center just after 1 week of his bail as he violated his probation. But the fate of Camrin has been changed as all the charges on him have been dropped.

The New York Police Benevolent Association president Patrick J.Lynch has condemned the decision of the Court and has called it completely absurd. Patrick stated that this decision by the court is absurd and this decision the court must outrage every New Yorker who wants to keep illegal weapons off the street. Patrick further stated that even though he shot an on-duty cop we have to ask why to bother sending us out to get the guns at all? Patrick has been very upset and publicly condemned the decision of the court.

Although Camrin Williams has a history of criminal records. Camrin was arrested earlier in the year 2020 in the Bronx for possession of a Tauris firearm. Camrin was just 14 years old when this all happened. According to some reports, many police officials and people are unhappy with this decision of the Bronx Court. Although New York benevolent association president Patrick has openly condemned this lets to see, who else comes in his support and condemns the decision made by the court in this case.
