A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left 14 people injured at a crowded shopping mall in South Carolina’s capital on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Jewayne M. According to a news release issued by Holbrook on Saturday, fourteen persons were hurt during the incident at Columbiana Centre. The victims were between the ages of 15 and 73. The Columbia Police Chief further said that no fatalities have been reported. However, around nine people were shot whereas five people sustained injuries while trying to escape the mall for safety. The 73-year-old victim is reported to be in critical condition. Apart from him, other victims have been released or will be released shortly from local hospitals.
