Lily Peters, a 10-year-old Wisconsin girl who was strangled and s*xually assaulted, has a 14-year-old relative accused of her murder.

Lily, 10, went missing in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on Sunday evening after spending the afternoon with her aunt Lauri Davis, 45, and boyfriend John Repetto, 50.

When Jessica didn’t return home at about 9 p.m., her father, Alex Peters, 43, reported her missing. Police conducted a desperate search for her and discovered her bicycle on a hiking route behind her aunt’s house. Her body was discovered in a wooded location along a trail on Monday, less than a half-mile from the house she shared with her parents, Jennifer Eyerly, 38, and brother Dylan.

The child, identified in court as CP-B, appeared in court via a Zoom link from juvenile jail with his attorneys. He has been charged with murder in the first degree.

DA Wade Newell requested a $1 million bond after the child allegedly ‘punched the victim in the stomach, knocked her to the ground, choked her to death, and then s*xually abused her.’

Despite the defense’s protests, Judge Benjamin Lane consented to a $1 million bond and barred him from contacting youngsters.

Lily’s disappearance and murder horrified the 30,000-strong Chippewa Falls community, with residents telling DailyMail.com that the 10-year-old was frequently seen riding her bike throughout town.

A massive display of purple balloons and flowers was set up near the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewery, close to where Lily was discovered.

Reported Missing

When Lily was reported missing, a security guard guarding the area said she immediately recognized her, telling DailyMail.com that she routinely saw her cycling along that road.

Every tree on the 10-year-street old’s was decked with purple ribbons, and there were also some supporting posters on Davis’s block. Her home, which she shared with her son, has been cordoned off and is being watched by police.

After the boy’s arrest on Tuesday, Chippewa Falls Police Chief Matt Kelm said: While nothing will bring Lily Peters back or change what happened, we are very grateful to deliver this news to the family and the community,’ Kelm said of the arrest.

Kelm, himself, choked up during the news conference as he announced Peters’ death.

‘As you can imagine, our first responders are tremendously impacted by anything that impacts one of our children,’ Kelm said, ‘so it is very difficult for them, and the investigators.’

Lily’s parents, Alexander and Jennifer, are yet to issue any kind of public comment.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the family which has already raised more than $20,000. It was set up by a friend who said they were raising money for the family.
