The notice further stated that Gerry was the husband of Mary, who passed away lately, and the loving father of Olwyn and Daire. The cafe owner left behind his mother and father, brother John, and sister Carmel before his death. He is survived by his sisters Mary and Margaret, brother Michael, son-in-law Stephen, nephew Nicholas and his wife Sarah, god-daughter Alex, nieces, nephews, and friends. Hundreds of people have been senfingf their sincere and deepest condolences to Gerry Horgan’s family.

People are describing the late cafe owner as a hard-working, lovely man and a true gentleman. Paying tributes to Gerry, one person wrote, “RIP a true gentleman”.
